John joined SBM in 2002 as joint Director alongside Des. John has 40 odd years in the industry. He is our Sales Manager and monitors the progress and implementation of all sales ensuring the customers get exactly what they require. He has boundless energy for creating all those new ideas a growing company needs.

Des started at SBM in 1989 as very much as a junior and has steadily progressed through the company to become a joint director with John. These years have given him the knowledge to be totally conversant with all aspects of the workings of SBM, and he manages and co-ordinates the day to day running of the company. As well as selling, he continues to have a hands on approach to the workshop..

Eileen Started with SBM in 2007 and manages the company’s accounting. She came to us with a wide knowledge of companies both large and small. With Des and John, she has been instrumental in installing our accounting and copy monitoring systems, that enhance the efficiency of the company. Eileen’s kind nature and personality, means she can deal with any situation in a calming and efficient manner.
Grant McNeil

Grant is SBM’s Senior Technician who heads our busy Service and IT Departments. Grant’s servicing career extends over 30 years, both in Europe and New Zealand, and has covered an extensive range of familiar office equipment brand names. For many years he has worked on Canon equipment within New Zealand companies moving along with the rapid innovations in printer technology and Software.

Luke is the most recent member of the SBM team. He started his working career with 10 years of furniture making, in which he became fully qualified. Moving to his brother’s IT company, he was trained in the field of computer and network support. As a result of this progression, he has become a highly skilled and creative IT technician who likes to play Netrunner, bike around Bottle Lake and McLean's Island, spend time in the garden growing carnivorous plants and (trying!) to keep the weeds under control.
Michael Myers

Mike started his career in the travel industry and subsequently moved to a company involved with the sourcing and supplying of parts for copiers and printers. This soon prompted his interest in the destination and use of these products which meant technical training was required. He started here as a trainee technician with the SBM service team and has proved to be an able and willing learner, which augurs well for the future.
